L'histoire commence sur les tentatives du Roi Arthur de recruter des chevaliers de la Table Ronde à travers la Grande-Bretagne. Plusieurs d'entre elles se révèlent vaines (la rencontre du Chevalier Noir par exemple, ou celle des paysans anarcho-syndicalistes) mais il est finalement rejoint par Sir Bedevere le Sage, qu'Arthur rencontre au cours du jugement d'une prétendue sorcière. Suit alors la présentation du groupe qui formera alors la Table Ronde : Sir Lancelot le Courageux, Sir Galahad le Pur et Sir Robin le Pas-tout-à-fait-aussi-courageux-que-Sir-Lancelot (ainsi que le bien nommé Sir n'apparait-pas-dans-ce-film). Le groupe chemine d'abord vers Camelot, où des chevaliers se livrent à un numéro musical, puis, suite à une rencontre avec Dieu, part à la recherche du Graal.

Leurs pérégrinations les amènent près d'un château tenu par des Français prétendant posséder un Graal. À la suite d'une offensive manquée, les chevaliers construisent un lapin de Troie (en référence au cheval de Troie) mais oublient de se cacher à l'intérieur et doivent ainsi renoncer à prendre le château. Le groupe décide ensuite de se séparer et l'on suit les aventures individuelles des chevaliers. On assiste ainsi à la rencontre de Robin avec un géant à trois têtes, au passage de Galahad le chaste, dans le château d'Anthrax, peuplé exclusivement de jeunes filles de 16 à 19 ans et demi, au face-à-face entre Arthur et Bedevere et les Chevaliers Qui Disent "Ni !" (d'abord, puis « Ekke Ekke Ekke Ekke Ptangya Ziiinnggggggg Ni ! », ensuite), et à l'irruption de Lancelot dans une noce dans le but de secourir un homme marié de force par son père, en pensant qu'il s'agissait d'une demoiselle.

À nouveau réunis, les chevaliers font la rencontre de Tim l'Enchanteur, qui les mène à une grotte gardée par un terrible lapin tueur. Après de lourdes pertes, et s'étant finalement débarrassés du lapin grâce à la sainte Grenade d'Antioche, ils sont poursuivis par un monstre et finissent par atteindre le pont de la Mort, qu'ils ne peuvent traverser qu'après avoir répondu à trois questions. Avec plus ou moins de succès, les chevaliers passent le pont pour se retrouver près d'un château tenu par les Français du début du film qui possèdent effectivement le Graal. Alors qu'Arthur s'apprête à donner l'assaut à l'aide d'une armée surgie de nulle part, des policiers arrivent et arrêtent les chevaliers pour le meurtre d'un historien survenu plus tôt dans le film. Le film prend fin brusquement après qu'un policier a bousculé le cameraman.

The story begins in King Arthur's attempts to recruit Knights of the Round Table throughout Britain . Many of them prove futile ( meet the Black Knight for example, or the peasant anarcho -syndicalists ) but is eventually joined by Sir Bedevere the Wise, Arthur encountered during the trial of an alleged witch. Then follows the presentation of the group which then form the Round Table Sir Lancelot the Brave, Sir Galahad the Pure and Sir Robin the Not -All- in - fact - as - brave - as -Sir- Lancelot (and the aptly named Sir - does not appear in it - film1 ) . The first group travels to Camelot , where knights engage in a musical number , then , after an encounter with God , goes in search of the Grail.

Their travels take them near a castle held by French suitor have a Grail. Following a failed offensive , the Knights built a Trojan Rabbit (referring to Trojan) but forget to hide inside and thus must give up to the castle. The group then decides to separate and individual adventures of the knights are followed . We are witnessing the meeting of Robin with a giant three-headed , the passage of the chaste Galahad in the Castle Anthrax , populated exclusively for girls 16 to 19 and a half years , the face-to- face meeting between Arthur and Bedevere and the Knights Who Say " Ni! " ( first, then " Ekke Ekke Ekke Ekke Ptangya Ziiinnggggggg Ni2 ! " then ) , and the emergence of Lancelot in a wedding in order to rescue a married man forced by his father , thinking he s ' was a lady.

Together again , the knights are meeting Tim the Enchanter , which leads to a cave guarded by a terrible rabbit tueur3 . After heavy losses, and finally being rid of the rabbit with the Holy Grenade of Antioch, they are pursued by a monster and eventually reach the bridge of Death, they can not pass after answered three questions. With more or less success , knights crossed the bridge to find near a castle held by the French at the beginning of the film that actually possess the Grail. While Arthur is preparing to assault with a army emerged out of nowhere, the police arrive and arrest the knights for the murder of a historian occurred earlier in the film. The film ends abruptly after a policeman shoved the cameraman .
